Global Warming: Is it the death of polar bears, or free will?

Do you believe in MAN MADE Global Warming??

If you answer yes to this question, and your reasoning is because Al Gore said so, your in idiot!
If you answered no, and your reason is because you're a "Republican", news flash buddy; you are more of an idiot than the Al Gore groupie.

I am not a scientist, nor do I claim to be, hell I'm only an Engineer what do I know about something like Global Warming? I'll tell you this, I bet I know more than you about it. Here is why: I make my own decisions, I don't let the man/media tell me what to believe. Here is what I suggest everyone do, regardless of their current opinion on the topic, it's a 3 step process.
1.Obtain a copy of "The Inconvenient Truth" watch it and take it all in.
2. Obtain a copy of "The Great Global Warming Swindle" watch it and absorb the information.
3. Do further research and develop your own opinion.

If you refuse to watch either one of these movies because of your political opinion you are an idiot. How can you possibly formulate an opinion without hearing an alternate view. Every debate has two sides, and every theory has a counter theory. This is American and I am proud to be an American, I make my own decisions dammit! If you don't understand a topic research it, and educate yourself.

The biggest problem with Global Warming is not the death of Polar Bears, it is the principle of the thing. I am going to refer to Global Warming as "theory x" for the rest of this text. Forget that theory x is global warming, here is what you need to remember, theory x is a theory. It is not accepted by all scientists, not everyone agrees with it, and there are numerous other theories with equal evidence. OK here goes:

You're kids go to school and learn about theory x. They watch films on theory x, and their teacher gives them a test devoted to theory x. When your kids get home from school they sit down with their family and put on the news (news channel Z to avoid controversy about the political agenda of the station). Here is what they see: News on theory x, not theory a,b,c, or p. How can this poor kid possibly formulate an opinion of his/her own, when the same thing is jammed into their poor little heads all day.



We need to stop acting like sheep and being herded by the media. I don't care if you are watching The View or Glen Beck, take in everything they say, research the topic, and formulate your own opinion. By the Way, research does not mean Google the topic and read the first site you see. Dive into the topic and get dirty! Many men and women have died so you can have your own opinion and express it, now go out there and get busy.
